Accurate blueprint reading and interpretation is an essential skill for anyone who knows the importance of keeping project Owners, Contractors and Subcontractors in harmony, and on time and on budget. This course contains the foundations to let the learner accomplish that coherence in a friendly small class size setting.

While there is an emphasis on mechanical, this is also an excellent course for electrical and other non-mechanical professionals who must work in harmony with other disciplines. Additionally, managers and supervisors from other backgrounds than mechanical will gain valuable insights into what their worker's needs are.

New engineers, boilermakers, welders, pipefitters, mechanics, millwrights, and many other professionals will directly benefit from this practical oriented program. Understanding specs and plans are essential to estimating, job planning, and working together on projects.

Emphasis is placed on drawing and reading mechanical blueprints and sketches for the purpose of laying out and assembling mechanical equipment.
